Deadlines and other details

The deadline for submission is March 15th, 2023.

The authors of the selected papers will be notified by May, 22th, 2023.

Discretionally, the Scientific Committee could ask selected authors to translate their work into Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Modes of Presentation

Breakout sessions

The breakout sessions are presentations of papers that include the theme of the congress: ” Diversity in Latin America. Suffering and Transformation “. In each breakout session two works are presented.
Each work is made up of two presenters and one moderator.

Duration: One hour and a half (ninety minutes). Each expositor will have 30 minutes for his/her presentation and the thirty minutes left will be for the discussion with the audience.

Mode of presentation: Each paper, independently of the number of its authors, will have just one expositor.

Application: The summary must be addressed to the Scientific Committee and must be sent through the web to be approved, including bibliographic references (in APA format).

Workshops

The workshops are group activities around a particular topic of the congress that will be approached in both ways: theoretical and experiential. They have a limited number of participants.

Duration: seventy five minutes.

Mode of presentation: The workshop may have one, two or maximum three facilitators who must determine the maximum number of participants.

Application: The summary must be addressed to the Scientific Committee and must be sent through the web to be approved, including bibliographic references (in APA format).

Posters

Graphic presentations about the Congress’ theme that should have the following characteristics:

Size: Width: 90 cm Length: 120 cm. The material in which is printed should allow it to be handle.
The design might be attractive, organized and clear.
Bibliographic references according to APA criteria.

Duration: The Scientific Committee will determine the day and length of the poster’s expositions.

Mode of presentation: No more than three expositors per poster. The author(s) may be at the place and time assigned in order to answer questions and discuss his/her ideas with the audience. The author is responsible for assembling and dismantling his/her poster

Application: The summary must be addressed to the Scientific Committee and must be sent through the web to be approved, including bibliographic references (in APA format).

Forum

Evening invitation from no less than three facilitators, to discuss about a subject related with the Congress’ theme.

Duration: Ninety minutes.

Mode of presentation: The Forum works as an open discussion around the theme proposed. It is imagined as a “Thematic Happy hour”.
